Probiotic Turmeric Gummies

Overflowing with probiotic goodness to help support gut health, these probiotic gummies combine the powerful health properties of turmeric and honey. Super easy and fun to make, they are a great recipe to get the kids cooking in the kitchen and chatting all things nutrition and good bugs!

INGREDIENTS

1 cup COYO® Natural Coconut Yoghurt
3 tbsp maple syrup
2 ½ tbsp gelatine or agar agar powder
¼ tsp turmeric powder
¼ cup water

METHOD

1. Prepare the turmeric paste by combining
1 tablespoon of honey with the turmeric powder in a small bowl and mix until well combined.
2. In another small bowl, combine the gelatine (or agar agar) and water.
3. In a small saucepan combine the COYO Natural Coconut Yoghurt with 2 tablespoons of honey and heat until warm, ensure not to boil to avoid damage to the live Plant Powered Probiotics!
4. Once the coconut yoghurt is warmed, remove from the heat and add the gelatine paste to the saucepan, whisk together until all lumps are removed.
5. Add the turmeric paste to the saucepan and stir only three times to create the marbling look.
6. Spoon the mixture into silicone moulds of choice and set the moulds in the fridge for 1 hour.
7. Once set, pop out the gummies and store in an airtight container in the fridge. Enjoy daily for your dose of probiotics!
