Ingredients
1 cup wholemeal flour
2 tsp cinnamon
Pinch of nutmeg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/3 cup maple syrup
2 tbsp apple sauce
2 tbsp coconut oil
1/3 cup your favourite plant based milk
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
METHOD
1. Preheat oven to 170C (fan forced)
2. In a bowl, mix together vanilla, maple syrup, coconut oil, apple sauce, vinegar and milk.
3. Sift in flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking powder and baking soda. Fold until combined.
4. Pour into a non-stick donut tin.
5. Bake for 11 minutes (skewer should come out clean) then leave to cool.
6. In a bowl combine the cinnamon and coconut sugar. Lightly brush the cooled donuts with melted coconut oil and then roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
7. Top with COYO Dairy Free Salted Caramel Ice Cream
